I have a soft spot for “outside world meets Torchwood” stories and More Than This is a very good example of how it can be done brilliantly. Especially when the outside character is as sympathetic and relatable as Roger. Especially with such a clever plot device to immerse the outsider into Torchwood life.
Better yet, this trope is mixed with the “a day in a Torchwood agent’s life” trope. So, what are you waiting for? Give it a listen!

As much as I like Gwen, the story was just not interesting enough. Kind of a Day In The Life type of story… for me it was a bit too fast pacing and I lost track of what’s going on more than once. Also I didn’t like Roger Pugh which didn’t help to actually care for the story in general.

I greatly enjoyed this story, as it once again helps us bridge the gap between Series 4 and 5 of Torchwood. Gwen and Roger made for some comedic moments together, and I enjoy the trope of the outside world meeting Torchwood very much. Great story once more!

I really enjoyed this and I loved having an audio that was basically a day in the life of Torchwood with all the little moments and stuff that Gwen had to deal with. It worked really well and was very entertaining and I loved that they kept running into Andy,

I LOVED IT!!!
I really enjoy these types of stories – Torchwood meets the outside world. And in this case, it really is the outside world, because somehow, Gwen manages to find the one Cardiff resident who doesn’t know what Torchwood is: Roger Pugh.
He goes along for the ride and is a great POV character. Andy also has a few cameos and rocks every single one of them.
I did not expect to like this as much as I did – ABSOLUTELY GET IT!!
