What a great celebration of 10 years of Torchwood!
This story is an amazing tapestry of Torchwood characters and plot lines. It is quite impressive how the story manages to interlace all the different existing elements into one plot while still managing to introduce twists.
It is, as a result, quite dense and probably requires a few listens to get it all. I sometimes think it should have been extended to a 3-hour audio to add some breathing room. But the pacing is really good as it is so probably not…
Special mention to Rowena Cooper, who is always absolutely delightful as Queen Victoria.

So far I haven’t been able to really enjoy this one. I tried a couple of times and it just doesn’t click. The idea behind it is really interesting and it’s great to hear so many loose ends with The Commity are picked up and put into the right order. My problem is that it’s mainly a narration of events that makes it hard for me to keep my mind from wandering after a while. I will definitely give it a few more tries, maybe I will appreciate at some point in the future.
