Captain Jack Harkness is dead, and that’s the simplest thing that’s happened to him in the last few days. Even the manner of his death is surprisingly complex, especially when it turns out that he hasn’t come back alone.
While Torchwood try and cope with a new mayor and a terrorist cell, they also have to deal with what, at first, looks to be a plague, and then turns out to be something far, far worse.

What is it with Torchwood and their refusal to acknowledge dubious consent or even non-consensual sex? I mean, I shouldn’t be surprised as that’s how we were introduced to Owen in the very first episode of the TV show but still, it’s 10 years later, you’d think mentalities would have changed a bit!
Anyway, if it’s not tackled in the story, a warning would at least have been nice.
The plot is quite weak in this one and the resolution feels a bit rushed and I think the thing I enjoyed most was the developing friendship between Mr Colchester and Orr, which seems to be the only healthy relationship in this audio.

Not a fan of the rather annoying “aliens made us do it” trope reoccurring.
However. Jack looks amazing on the cover. Look at him.

Not a big fan of this story tbh. There are some good moments but it doesn’t redeem it in the slightest.
