Where Ghost Mission was a buddy cop story, this is heavily influenced by film noir and I love it!

Once again, the relationship between the protagonists and the chemistry between the actors are wonderful. Andy’s inherent goodness and compassion paired with Norton’s world-weary glibness and scheming makes for an exhilarating listen.

On top of that, this audio answers the very important question: “how many times can you get Andy naked in a one-hour drama?”.

The story started a bit slow (not in pace – it’s a real rollercoaster), but it took a bit until I really got invested in the story and it turned out to be a real blast! I guess with Norton nothing is simple and straight forward. 😉 Samuel Barnett does such an excellent job as Norton, for that alone this audio is worth the purchase. I like that he’s such a complex character. You have no choice but to love him… even that he’s really not the good guy most of the time. Norton and Andy have such great chemistry, so much fun! I also loved the peak into Torchwood 1950’s.

It is Norton and Andy so of course it is amazing, their chemistry together is amazing and works sooo well!! Andy getting thrown into a situation where he knows nothing and things keep happening to him out of his control paired with Norton being evasive and just being Norton was hilarious and I loved it!! I always love getting to see more of Torchwood in different time periods and having Andy go back to the 1950s was amazing! It was really entertaining to listen to and the story itself was very fun especially as you learn in the interviews that a lot of it (obviously not the aliens) is based on real life.
