Gareth David-Lloyd is so good at writing snappy dialogue!
Just like in The Last Beacon and Blind Summit, this is a lot of fun with some very touching character moments. There are funny moments, sad ones, foreshadowing ones, nods to canon…
The actors are all fantastic. Tim Bentinck does an amazing job with Tommy’s monologues (the one about Torchwood life and retirement at the beginning and the one at the end; you feel for Tommy). Tracy-Ann Oberman sounds like she had a lot of fun with all the accents. And Gareth David-Lloyd IS Ianto and always amazing playing him.
And I love Yvonne so so so much!
