Description
They know everything about Cardiff – they hear the city’s secrets, they move between its hidden places, they understand its nightmares. And they’re the people you turn to if you’re in trouble. They are taxi drivers.
Toshiko Sato, wounded and desperate, wakes up in the back of a cab. She’s got one night to save the city, and the meter’s running.

Fawzia is an incredible guest character, and really works well with Tosh. I find it’s a really good story written as a love letter to Cardiff in a way. I do find the resolution to the story rather quick however but that’s my only complaint. A little nitpick I do have with some BF audios is where a character is on the phone to someone but you can’t even faintly hear them, and in other audios you can. As someone familiar with Suzanne Packer from Keeping Faith, Doctor Who S11 and Casualty I didn’t recognise her at all as her voice was so strikingly different! So nice to hear more of Tosh.

I really enjoyed Drive! All the characters are great. How Fawzia reacted to the Torchwood reveal was brilliant and absolutely believable. Fawzia, and the actress playing her, are brilliant throughout to be honest.
The story is quite straightforward, on the lighter side for Torchwood but very well handled and I didn’t get bored.
And, for once, it did not revolve around a love interest for Tosh! Her connection in this story is with Fawzia and it is genuine and sweet. Loved it!

Great story! There were bits that genuinely made me laugh out loud, and Tosh’s dynamic with Fawzia was very sweet.
