    The plot of this story is quite complex for a one-hour audio with quite a few threads to tie together. However, they do so pretty well on the whole.

    At least, Jack seems to actually be competent or at least take charge and act on his decisions in this one even though his motives are still nebulous.
    Though, on that point, what happened in the end with the team and Jack felt a bit rushed and his reaction to it out of character again.
    I think how Jack is written is the most disappointed thing for me in this Big Finish range.

    But let’s talk about the main plot of the story. We get to see a different side of Andy, which is very interesting. Pairing him with Rhys for a large chunk of the story was a good choice as well. I enjoyed their discussions and, as always with these too, great performances are given.

    *Vague spoilers for the end of the story below*
    As for the character they introduce at the end: I did not expect this! If they’re written as they have been in other Big Finish ranges, “deal me in”!
