This story is brilliant, and helps to conclude the arc of two companions whilst bringing the show into the next era! Jack is well and truly back, and his appearance and attitude suggests he is from much later in his life, post series 6 of Torchwood definitely. It’s a simple story but it does feel very Doctor Who and it’s what we needed at this time! Whilst the last Jack scene does raise issues with Torchwood continuity, I’m sure there will be a workaround from Big Finish soon!
