Launch Date reminds me of Coffee, as in the main characters are ordinary people getting caught up in Torchwood business.
However, I liked the plot and structure of Coffee better. Unlike in Coffee, I didn’t feel surprised or emotional about what happened. Geraint and Chrissie are really good characters but the “mystery” and especially its denouement are underwhelming.
Still, the dialogue is really well written, the actors are fantastic and I always like outsider POV stories. 🙂
