Talmouth is a lonely seaside town. No-one has heard from it for days. No-one who goes in comes out. Something has happened to Talmouth. Has it been taken over by aliens? Or is it something far, far worse?

What’s most striking about this audio drama is the sound production that absolutely knocks it out of the park and makes this creepy tale even creepier.
Eve Myles gives, as always, a great performance as a Gwen Cooper that goes through an emotional roller-coaster during this adventure.
Lily –
If there’s going to be a story involving visual hallucinations and the fear of what you might see, you wouldn’t expect it to work in audio form.
However, the sound effects and wonderful editing make this a terrifying story that is immersive in the best way, with some really great acting and just the right amount of confusion to make it scary yet understandable. Gwen is definitely the best character for the plot, adding an emotional element to a creepy story.

I absolutely adore Gwen’s characterization in this!!! I also liked the other characters in this. The voice and Ms. Rose are super interesting and there were funny moments that made me laugh out loud. The resolution of this story was also very intriguing.

The sound effects and acting in this are amazing and make it such an interesting but chilling story!! I want to say that I listened to it really quickly but it does not work like that. It definitely felt a lot quicker than other audios tho because I was so invested in it and it was so intense!
