Description

Alien larvae in a baptismal font mark the beginnings of a terrifying adventure for the “Torchwood” team in this exclusive audio adventure, read by Gareth David-Lloyd.

Searching for the source of a bizarre Rift reading, Gwen, Jack and Ianto find a corpse on the beach, his face covered in hundreds of tiny cuts. Watching from the shadows is a man in black…The Reverend Hayward thinks he has found a way to take away people’s sins. The trouble is, his special baptisms tend to take away their lives too. For the creatures he collects and puts in his church font are nightmarish parasites, feeding on their hosts’ negative emotions before consuming them. It is up to Torchwood to track them down and destroy them…

4 stars because Ianto is absolutely Unhinged at parts. Love that for him. But also someone needs to take the SUV keys away from him.

  2. Ciara

I really enjoyed this one!! There were lots of good Janto and Gwen/Rhys moments and um Ianto’s desire to try out every feature of the SUV is hilarious and slightly worrying

  3. Xandra73

I really enjoyed this one! The story was interesting and quite creepy. And yes, I just love listening to Gareth’s voice. In the beginning I had a bit of trouble sorting out who’s speaking when, but it got more distinctive quickly. I loved the interaction between the characters, we got plenty of Jack and Ianto and some indepth look into Gwen’s character. Sometimes Ianto came across a bit childish, but… why not. It definitely turned into fun situations. 🙂
