War Chest is a very enjoyable adventure/thriller story.
It’s not heavy on character work but the writer nails Toshiko’s portrayal in my opinion. And Naoko Mori delivers a great performance.
The antagonists didn’t quite work for me though, they felt a bit too stereotypical, especially early on in the audio.
But I had a good time listening to this story, I enjoyed the resolution and I like how it expands the Torchwood lore.
